Campus Safety

Providing a safe and secure learning environment is a top priority at Oconee Christian Academy. 

We regulary evaluate our security measures and procedures, to be sure we are best protecting the students you entrust to us.

These measures include the following:

  • Sign-in and sign-out of our students
  • Check-in of all volunteers and visitors
  • Visible badges for all staff
  • Background check process for staff, volunteers, and chaperones
  • Recess and lunchroom oversight by staff
  • Locked campus
  • Secured doors
  • Monitored fire and security systems
  • Cameras throughout inside and outside of buildings
  • Paging system to quickly communicate to entire campus
  • Emergency drill notification systems for parents, in case of closure or emergency
  • Staff trained in first-aid, CPR, and AED
