Spiritual Life

At Oconee Christian Academy, Christ is the center of all we do. Our priority is for students to experience and know the love of Jesus and the gospel. Our desire is for them to see the world through a biblical lens.

The OCA community is like a family. We believe that discipleship happens in everyday life – in the hallways, classroom, clubs, practices for performances, and on the field. Faculty and staff are intentionally investing in the lives of students, challenging and encouraging them to grow in Christ in all areas of life.

All students participate in weekly chapel services designed to engage them in worship and give them a foundation in scripture that will serve them their entire lives. High school students also have the opportunity to participate in our Boost Program to foster and encourage their spiritual growth.

Chapel

Our students attend weekly chapel services, giving them the opportunity to participate in praise and worship, and to hear the word of God through guest speakers. Kindergarten through fifth grade students have Chapel on Wednesdays. High school chapels are held on Thursdays.

Community Ministry

Oconee Christian Academy’s students are encouraged to be involved in ministry opportunities in their local community. Classes often plan and implement mission projects as a way to minister to others. High school students are expected to complete a number of service hours as part of their graduation requirements.
